The Food and Drug Administration requested on August 3rd, 2015 comments and scientific data and information on raw milk cheese.

Docket No. FDA-2015-N-2596: Understanding Potential Intervention Measures to Reduce the Risk of Foodborne Illness From Consumption of Cheese Manufactured from Unpasteurized Milk.

The Oldways Cheese Coalition, along with its members and partners, conducted the “2015 Raw Milk Cheese Consumption and Attitudes Survey” from September 19th to October 23rd on consumers of raw milk cheese. The information generated was used to submit comments to the Food and Drug Administration.
